My journey into fostering began in 2018, when I adopted a scared and confused Frenchie girl from a breeding farm. She had never seen a toy, never sleep inside a house, and had only known people who shouted and use violence. Slowly, she learned what love felt like — how to rest, play, and feel safe. That experience  and the unconditional love I see in her eyes changed me. I knew I had to help more.

So I joined a bulldog charity and jumped headfirst into the chaotic, muddy, heart-melting world of fostering and rehoming.
Since then, I’ve cared for more dogs I can count — each with their own story, each deserving of a second chance.

Today, I oversee the care of our pound dogs — the ones who arrive frightened, shut down, and often in poor condition. They’re not broken. They’re simply waiting for someone to believe in them. My role is to help them heal, rebuild trust, and find homes where they’ll finally be loved as they should be.

It’s not always easy. But it’s always worth it.
